About

I was sitting on the dusty, cold ground of the fenced yard. It was a cool evening in early spring. I had my camera in my hand and dog paws running up my thighs, arms, and oops my forehead. I had puppies running in my direction without having yet learned to brake, giving me kisses on the nose and on my camera. And in that little chaos, full of joy and energy, that I said to myself, “I can’t believe I’m working right now.” The happiness that overwhelmed me was so sweet, so pure. My red and cold cheeks were suspended in a perpetual smile.

And that’s when I knew I had found what I wanted to do every day.

I’ve always been the ambitious dreamer type. When I was younger and people would ask me what I wanted to do in life, I’d reply that I wanted to be a vet by day, an acrobat at Cirque du Soleil on weekends and a writer in my spare time. (because I actually thought I could have some spare time through all that!) My reasoning was simple and I had decided to take the things that made my heart sing to create one (or three) career(s).

I ended up studying photography in university, one of my greatest passions. I developed an artistic practice in contemporary art as well as my flair for colors and composition. I loved creating, sharing my ideas and telling stories through my art. But I still felt a void inside of me that I wanted to fill. To my surprise, I had a pretty strong entrepreneurial side that was aching to flourish.

Then in 2016, Storm came into my life. My big baby Labradane,* whom I adopted with my boyfriend, was the one who introduced me to dog photography. It was with him that I developed my passion for dog photography and uncovered the intense dog-mom that I am.

Two years after the end of my bachelor’s degree, I finally decided to take up photography. I chose to combine my passion for photography with my love for animals in pet photography and my desire to tell and share stories through my art practice.

If your dog is your best friend or your big baby, it would be my pleasure to meet you and accompany you during your favorite activity to create together a beautiful memories that you can display on the walls of your home.

*Labradane: mix of Great Dane and Labrador.
