Charity of the season : Spring 2022

The time has come to announce the charity of the season for SPRING 2022! The second charity selected for this project is Les chiens Togo!

I was introduced to the work of this wonderful organization by an old colleague and friend. And since I’ve discovered them, I’ve been wanting to contribute to their great and important mission which touches me dearly. I’m happy that I get the opportunity to do so through the charity of the season project!

Created in 2016, the Togo Foundation is a charitable organization composed of psychosocial workers and canine educators. Their mission is to train service dogs who will be able to help people experiencing various important difficulties affecting their quality of life. For this purpose, the organization collaborates with thirty shelters across the province to evaluate according to standardized behavioral protocols dogs with the profile to become Togo psychological assistance dogs. They also evaluate individual dogs looking for a second chance.

Les chiens Togo are the exclusive suppliers in Quebec for service dogs for veterans and first responders for Wounded Warriors Canada. They are also recognized by psychologists and psychology students.

If you would like to help out the organization, you have multiple options:

  • Become a volunteer

  • Become a partner

  • Entrust a dog

  • Donate

To learn more about the charity and their activities, I invite you to check out their website and social media plateform, Facebook and Instagram.

You can also contribute to their mission by booking your photo session between APRIL AND JUNE 2022!

What’s the Charity of the season program?

For each session booked during a set period of time, 5% of bookings is donated to the charity of the season. A different charity will be selected each season and be announced on a blog article and on my social media accounts.

Spring 2022: April 1st to June 30th, 2022
