Charity of the season : winter 2022

The time has come to announce the charity of the season for WINTER 2022! The first charity that I’ve selected to kick off the program, is base in the area of Montreal and it’s The Aristopaws!

When I first began following their work on social media, I fell in love with their mission. Seeing their devoted team work so hard to help animals in need spoke to me and gave me faith in humans. It also made me want to contribute to their amazing work in any way that I could!

Founded in 2014 by a team of very passionate people, The Aristopaws is the only non-profit organization in Quebec to specialize in rescuing abandoned or stray animals that are sick or wounded. In collaboration with shelters and veterinarian clinics, the non-profit provides them with the necessary specialized health care to put them back on their feet and to find help them find their forever home.

These animals come from abandonments, the pound or seizures for animal cruelty or mistreatment. In order to give them a comfortable rehabilitation, the animals taken in charge are placed in host families during the period of care. This also makes it possible to make good behavioral assessments, in preparation for adoption, since they live in a family context.

If you would like to help out the organization, you have multiple options:

  • Become a host family

  • Sponsor an animal

  • Join their volunteer team

  • Organize a fundraiser (like this one for instance!)

  • Adopt an animal

  • Donate money

To learn more about the charity and their activities, I invite you to check out their website and social media plateform, Facebook and Instagram.

You can also contribute to their mission by booking your photo session between January and March 2022!

What’s the Charity of the season program?

For each session booked during a set period of time, 5% of bookings is donated to the charity of the season. A different charity will be selected each season and be announced on a blog article and on my social media accounts.
